Ludlow Museum at the Buttercross
With a National Art Pass you get
The more you see, the more we do.
The National Art Pass lets you enjoy free entry to hundreds of museums, galleries and historic places across the UK, while raising money to support them.
The museum is located in the centre of the historic walled town of Ludlow
Reopened at a new site in 2016, the museum features a range of audio-visual exhibits that allow visitors to discover the history of the area in imaginative ways.
These displays reveal how Victorian geologist Sir Roderick Murchison unravelled the story of Ludlow's rocks, the connection Catherine of Aragon had to Ludlow Castle and the horrors of the First World War as it was experienced by local soldiers.
There are also recorded memories of life in Ludlow during the 1950s.
