A museum dedicated to the archaeology, social history and artists of the local area.
Kingston Museum's displays include three permanent galleries: Ancient Origins; the Lottery-funded Town of Kings (which tells the story of the borough from Saxon times), and Eadweard Muybridge, devoted to the pioneering motion photographer who was born and died in Kingston. Temporary exhibitions are held regularly in the upstairs gallery.
