Located in the former assembly hall of the Old Grammar School, Gosport Museum and Art Gallery was created by the community to highlight the town's rich heritage and social history. It also showcases the very best of local and national art, hosts a wide range of activities and events, and promotes education.

The Play Gallery is an interactive, sensory space for the under fives and an introduction to art for young children, focusing on colour, line, shape, and texture. For older enquiring minds there is a research room and refurbished learning rooms.
