Exploring food stories
Wander extensive grounds and encounter historic buildings that reveal changing traditions of food in Britain. Abbot’s Hall and its gardens set the scene, offering community displays and produce grown for the cafe.

Daily talks, tours and demonstrations introduce crafts, farming practices and animal care. Guests meet rare breeds, try practical activities and follow trails past watermills, chapels and orchards to understand how food connects land, labour and culture.
