Situated in Kent's historic port town, Dover Museum is home to the Dover Bronze Age Boat - the world's oldest known seagoing vessel.
The collections cover the long and diverse history of the area from prehistoric times (featuring one of the finest Bronze Age displays in the country) to the region's many Roman sites, Anglo-Saxon finds, castle history, medieval development, Victorian rebuilding and Dover's importance in both World Wars.
