Dingles Fairground Museum
With a National Art Pass you get
Ride vintage carousels & dodgems at Dingles Fairground Museum which captures the bygone age of the traditional fairground with working exhibits and stunning artwork.
All the fun of the fair is here: dodgems, ghost trains, chariot racers, gallopers and the rodeo switchback, though young children might prefer the gentler option of the roundabout or Happy Caterpillar. There is also a 1950s Bingo stall and an array of classic fairground games such as Beat the Clock, Plate Smasher, Hook a Duck or the Coconut shy.

During the pandemic we have revamped our site, and are nearly ready to open our new 25,000sq ft Museum Exhibition Hall.
For the 2022 Season, Dingles Fairground Museum will be reopening in two stages.
Stage 1 – From Easter 2022 will be re-opening our Rides Hall, complete with new Arcade for 3 hour pre booked sessions twice daily. This will include our new temporary Cafe (light refreshments only), and Shop.
Stage 2 – From June 2022 we will be delighted to welcome visitors to all of the above, plus our new dedicated 25,000sq ft exhibition space featuring a whole host of fairground artwork and artefacts, including numerous new exhibits.
Exclusions and safety measures
The site is now all on one level for accessibility, with drop off points for those with disabilities right by the main entrance. We regret that we are unable to accommodate dogs, except guide and hearing dogs (water bowls available on request).
Pre booking will be essential for the whole 2022 season, as we try return to full operational capacity following the Covid-19 Pandemic – So please be patient, we are mostly volunteers!
