Surrounded by historic parkland and lakes, Cusworth Hall is a Georgian country home which holds extensive displays of local social history.

Cusworth House is a beautiful 18th-century Grade I listed country house built for the local landowner, and later MP, William Wrightson. It was later embellished by the architect James Paine with magnificent additions including an Italianate chapel and library.

The Georgian house is surrounded by a park which was originally landscaped by Richard Wood, a follower of 'Capability' Brown, in 1760. Following comprehensive analysis of archive material, the elements of the 18th-century landscape have been incorporated into the garden allowing visitors to enjoy spectacular views.

The history of the hall is interpreted throughout and there are extensive displays of local social history illustrating everyday life in the Doncaster area over the last 250 years.
