With a National Art Pass you get
The more you see, the more we do.
The National Art Pass lets you enjoy free entry to hundreds of museums, galleries and historic places across the UK, while raising money to support them.
Housed in a Georgian townhouse, Chippenham Museum tells the story of this historic market town from its Saxon origins to the present day.
Visitors can learn about the town of Chippenham’s development through its connections to river, road and rail and explore its important links to Alfred the Great, whose palace once stood on the site of the museum.
The temporary exhibition gallery hosts regularly changing displays, and the museum runs a varied programme of walks, talks, children’s activities and special events. The museum shop sells a wide range of books, souvenirs and gifts inspired by the museum’s collections.
