A bold contemporary gallery in a historic Camden church, Camden Arts Projects champions emerging artists, film and community programmes.

Historic Camden church venue

Housed in a former Methodist church in Camden, Camden Arts Projects blends grand Corinthian architecture with decades of creative history. Actors including Colin Firth and Helen McCrory once rehearsed here during the building’s years as the London Drama Centre.

Contemporary art programme

Today, the gallery supports emerging and established artists through exhibitions, film and community-focused events. Curator Hala Matar leads a programme designed to feel open, welcoming and experimental.

Gallery talks, events and café

Browse exhibitions, discover artist talks and enjoy pastries from Little Bread Pedlar’s café. Plans for future screening rooms promise deeper engagement with experimental film and cultural experiences.

Why you should go

  • Explore a historic church-turned-gallery

  • Discover bold contemporary artists
