Looking at the extraordinary relationship between two Bloomsbury Group artists through 250 objects.
Vanessa Bell & Duncan Grant: Inside Bloomsbury is a major exhibition celebrating the work and creative partnership of two of Britain’s most influential 20th-century artists.
The show explores the extraordinary collaboration between Bell and Grant across more than 50 years, situating their practice within the wider context of the Bloomsbury Group. Over 250 objects will be on display, including portraits, still lifes, landscapes, decorative objects, ceramics and textiles, alongside a full reconstruction of Duncan Grant’s Sussex studio from Charleston.
Highlighting both their shared endeavours and individual artistic paths, the exhibition traces their impact on British art and culture, celebrating a legacy of experimentation, freedom and innovation.
