The Society of Wildlife Artists presents The Natural Eye, an annual exhibition of fine art inspired by the natural world.

Showing work by members of the Society of Wildlife Artists alongside artists selected from an open call, this exhibition presents a wide-ranging collection of work including sculpture, printmaking, painting and drawing that celebrates the continued inspiration of the natural world for contemporary artists. With a global outlook, The Natural Eye provides an opportunity to reflect on the world's wildlife, as well as the importance of its conservation.

Out of the Frame

The Out of the Frame room celebrates the tradition of working from life and will show a selection of field sketches and project work from the SWLA Massingham Heath Project. The project has seen over 30 SWLA artists follow the seasons and changing flora, fauna and landscape of an exciting rewilding project in West Norfolk.

The SWLA Massingham Heath Project was featured on BBC Radio 4's Open Country. Listen here to host Martha Kearney in conversation with SWLA President Harriet Mead and members Darren Woodhead and Kim Atkinson.

Special events

Alongside the exhibition, a series of special events will include artist demonstrations, talks and a portfolio day.
