Artist Jay Jay Burridge brings the story of Megalosaurus to life through five monumental sculptures that offer a fresh perspective on one of palaeontology’s most significant discoveries. First identified in Oxfordshire in 1824, Megalosaurus transformed scientific understanding and helped establish the study of dinosaurs.
Rather than traditional reconstructions, these fully articulated works use modern materials to imagine the prehistoric creature through a contemporary artistic lens. Dinosaurs Are Forever invites visitors to explore the meeting point between science, history and creativity while encountering a remarkable icon of natural history in a bold new form.
