First UK museum exhibition of Lithuanian-American artist who explored nature, environment and science.
Experience the first UK museum exhibition of Lithuanian-American artist Aleksandra Kasuba, surveying six decades of her practice. Following her post-WWII emigration to the United States, Kasuba developed a body of work spanning painting, mosaics, sculpture and architectural design.
Inspired by organic forms like shells and marine life, the exhibition explores her desire to reconnect humanity with the natural world. It highlights her collaborative work with the collective Experiments in Art and Technology (E.A.T.), engaging with themes of environmental harmony and imagining alternative ways of living through the intersection of art and science.
