New for 2026, discover The Rothschild Story – a display bringing the family's complex history and family tree to life.
These rooms explore the story of the Rothschild family, who created and continue to care for Waddesdon Manor.
Designed by award-winning exhibition designers ZMMA, the new displays will include digital and interactive elements. They will highlight key figures, from Baron Ferdinand, who built Waddesdon Manor, to the late Lord Rothschild and his daughter, Dame Hannah Rothschild, who now serves as Chair of the Rothschild Foundation.
The new display will illuminate the influence of some of the female members of the family in new ways and explore the long-standing Rothschild interest not only in collecting great works of art, but in horticulture, nature and sustainability, and the role the Rothschild Foundation plays in these areas today.
