Dive into global stories behind Britain’s most beloved flowers and plants.

From roses and tulips to camellias and peonies, In Bloom traces the journeys of some of Britain's most adored flowers from Oxford gardens to distant continents. Over 100 works, including paintings, prints, drawings and ceramics, reveal the curiosity and determination of early plant explorers. The exhibition shows how the search for exotic species shaped trade, landscapes and cultures, intertwining beauty with history.

Encounter tales of obsession, discovery and ingenuity, while exploring how these plants transformed gardens and societies. Through rich visual storytelling, it illuminates our enduring fascination with the natural world and the legacies of human interaction with it.
