The groundbreaking Colombian artist explores the power and impact of the images we encounter every day.
Discover the bold, playful work of pioneering Colombian artist Beatriz González, whose practice spans more than six decades. In over 150 pieces, González reworks found images from newspapers, postcards and Western art into vivid paintings, installations and repurposed furniture. Her distinctive style questions taste, critiques power and bears witness to social and political change.
Through humour, grief and community, each work invites reflection on displacement and collective memory. The exhibition offers an immersive experience, presenting both monumental and intimate works that highlight the enduring influence and creativity of González’s practice.
