Bringing the Cornish coast to Yorkshire this autumn, painter and printmaker Andrew Waddington’s new works incorporate elements of architecture, mythology, poetry, art and music.
Using a delicate colour palette, the exhibition will feature a variety of mediums, including paintings, prints and original drawings, depicting both the Cornish and, for the first time, Yorkshire landscapes.
When looking at his paintings the viewer does not know at what period in time the various elements are present; animals and objects float and fade in and out, and perspective is not necessarily followed.
