Celebrating 150 years of the women who shaped Liberty’s iconic textile designs
Women in Print explores the pivotal role of female designers in Liberty Fabrics over the past 150 years. Featuring over 100 works, the exhibition highlights iconic patterns by Althea McNish, Susan Collier, Sarah Campbell and Lucienne Day, alongside previously overlooked contributors.
Garments, fabrics, original designs, historic photographs and film trace the evolving influence and status of women in the textile industry. Accompanied by mentoring and training initiatives for young people, the show celebrates creativity and innovation, while inviting reflection on the future of women designers in Britain’s rich textile tradition.
