This special exhibition explores the work of Dutch artist Dick Bruna, creator of the adventurous little bunny, loved around the world.
Discover more than 50 screen prints, drawings, manuscripts and paintings showing Bruna’s creative journey, alongside stop-motion models from the TV series Miffy and Friends.
Step into Miffy’s world with immersive life-sized sets from favourite stories miffy goes to stay, miffy in the tent and miffy at school. Explore, play and create your own stories through puppets, drawing and colour.
See how Miffy was brought to life through Bruna’s design process, from early sketches and book covers to illustrations of much-loved friends including Boris Bear, Poppy Pig and Snuffy. The exhibition also showcases his bold poster designs for charitable causes including the Red Cross.
