This exhibition features over 40 original cartoons by the award-winning cartoonist for The Times, Peter Brookes. This remarkable collection of works in ink and watercolour covers the major political events and figures from the last 18 months.
Peter Brookes has been a political cartoonist for The Times since 1992. After training as an RAF pilot, he attended and taught at the Central School of Art in London. He joined The Times as a political cartoonist and illustrator in 1982 and became its full-time political cartoonist a decade later.
Among his many honours, he has won the British Press Awards cartoonist of the year eight times, most recently in 2017. The same year, he was appointed CBE for services to the media.
