Exhibition

Future of Food

24 July 2025 - 4 January 2026
Free to all

Explore thousands of years of food history – and what’s coming next.

From the fields of ancient civilisations to today’s supermarket shelves and tomorrow’s biotech labs, the Future of Food offers a multisensory journey through thousands of years of food production, and explores how it will change.

See extraordinary objects, including a 3,500-year-old loaf of bread and the world’s first lab-grown beef steak, with digital experiences and hands-on displays that bring to life the complex systems behind what ends up on your plate.
