Becoming Shakespeare is a new immersive exhibition exploring the formative years of William Shakespeare. Set within the atmospheric setting of Shakespeare’s Birthplace on Henley Street, the exhibition delves into his childhood in 16th-century Stratford-upon-Avon through storytelling, audio-visual displays and interactive installations, revealing the people, places and experiences that shaped the young writer’s imagination.

Exclusions and safety measures
Hall’s Croft, the Jacobean home of Shakespeare’s daughter Susanna and her husband Dr. John Hall, and Mary Arden’s farm, a working Tudor farm where Shakespeare’s mother grew up are currently closed to the general public.
