Learn how a boy from a small market town became the most famous playwright in the world.

Becoming Shakespeare is a new immersive exhibition exploring the formative years of William Shakespeare. Set within the atmospheric setting of Shakespeare’s Birthplace on Henley Street, the exhibition delves into his childhood in 16th-century Stratford-upon-Avon through storytelling, audio-visual displays and interactive installations, revealing the people, places and experiences that shaped the young writer’s imagination.
