Popcorn! by artist Jenny Pengilly invites visitors of all ages to discover the art of sound creation inspired by Foley artists. The exhibition features a lively DIY punk aesthetic and offers a multi-sensory experience with unusual props, image boards, and soundtracks to craft unique acoustic stories.

Visitors can record their own Foley sounds in Static Studios alongside visuals and film, while engaging with themes of experimental music and children’s learning. Developed through workshops at the gallery and Phoenix School in Tower Hamlets, which educates children and young people with autism, Popcorn! offers an imaginative journey into the magic behind everyday sound effects.
