Celebrating the last 50 years of Sheringham Town from 1975 to 2025
Join us for a new exhibition that takes you on a journey through the town of Sheringham's last 50 years, documenting the changes, lamenting the losses, and embracing the new.
The 2025 annual exhibition places Sheringham in a local, national, and international context and includes events that have impacted the town. These range widely from the uniquely local ‘Sheringham Sinkhole’ to our seafront murals, and infrastructure improvements such as the rejoining of the Bittern Line to the North Norfolk Railway, to name a few.
This exhibition allows us an opportunity to reminisce on change and allow us to take stock of the human and physical geography of the town, its people, businesses, and our coastal location allowing us to appreciate longstanding institutions and the whole town events that make Sheringham so special.
