Dovecot Studios' major tapestry with Chris Ofili will be shown in the context of the studio where it was created
Dovecot Studios' major tapestry with Chris Ofili will return to Scotland in Summer 2024. The Caged Bird’s Song, commissioned by The Clothworkers’ Company, will be shown in the context of the tapestry studio where the work was created.
Experience how the colour, myths and magic of Ofili’s watercolour design are transformed into a large format tapestry that took Dovecot’s master weavers over three years to create. The exhibition will form part of the Edinburgh Festival 2024.
