Exhibition

Jacqueline Poncelet: In the Making

1 February - 23 June 2024
Free to all

Experience the exuberant, joyful and reflective work of an artist who has spent five decades restlessly exploring materials and making.

Over 50 years of work by Jacqueline Poncelet go on display in this major solo exhibition. Poncelet has committed her practice to exploring materiality and ways of making, industrial processes and landscapes. She works across a range of media, including ceramics, painting and textiles, to explore how tastes and trends impact how we dress, decorate our houses, design buildings and create infrastructure.

Presented thematically, the exhibition presents work from different decades in dialogue, demonstrating Poncelet's rigorous creative process across diverse bodies of work.
