Artes Mundi 10

20 October 2023 - 25 February 2024

Seven international artists in a nationwide exhibition mark the Artes Mundi prize's 20-year history in Wales.

Commemorating their 20-year anniversary, the latest edition of Artes Mundi spotlights the legacy of the biennial exhibition while looking ahead to the challenges of the future.

For the first time, the exhibition will be presented at five nationwide venues throughout Wales, including National Museum Cardiff, Mostyn, Glynn Vivian Art Gallery and Chapter. The host museums and galleries will feature solo and group presentations of the seven international contemporary artists selected. Across their varied work, the artists share concerns around contested land, the limits of nationhood, environmental responsibility and ideas of identity.
