Caribbean artist Frank Walter's previously unseen landscape art and sculptures address identity, nature, and social issues.
A showcase of landscape and nature works by Francis Archibald Wentworth Walter (1926-2009), one of the most significant visual artists of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. Artist, Gardener, Radical delves into Walter’s prolific body of work, addressing environmentalism, Caribbean and Black identity, social justice, and nature's complexity. Over one hundred previously unseen paintings, plus sculpture work and a new immersive set design will transport visitors to Walter's Antiguan ‘castle on a hill’ studio, offering insight into his unique perspective.
