Showcasing newly digitised film and photography to specially commissioned interviews, Spies, Lies and Deception uncovers the history of espionage from the First World War to the present day.

Highlights include the pioneering role women played in the history of spying, shocking stories of intrigue by undercover agents, daring attempts to deceive during major wars, everyday objects turned into covert weapons and the methods used by intelligence agencies around the world to uncover plots.
