Wide-ranging survey of contemporary fashion culture in the UK, focusing on radical London designers.
Coinciding with London Fashion Week, this landmark exhibition celebrates modern fashion culture in the UK, offering unprecedented insight into the careers and development of London designers over the past thirty years. Curated by British Fashion Council Ambassador Sarah Mower and Design Museum Senior Curator Rebecca Lewin, it narrates the radical transformation of fashion thanks to fearless, rebellious young creatives who jointly changed the design landscape. Featuring iconic pieces, including Björk's infamous swan dress, the show presents over 100 innovative looks from ground-breaking debut and early collections, celebrating UK-based designers like JW Anderson, Molly Goddard, Simone Rocha, Christopher Kane and more.
