In a celebration of the dynamic relationship between contemporary painting and photography, this exhibition showcases works by artists including Andy Warhol, Jeff Wall and Lucian Freud.
Featuring 39 artists from the last 100 years, with photographs and paintings from the Tate’s collection and the Yageo Foundation Collection, Capturing the Moment invites visitors to discover how artists in the two mediums worked alongside each other.
See significant works from post-war painters such as Francis Bacon and Alice Neel, photography by Hiroshi Sugimoto, Louise Lawler and Candida Höfer and contemporary painters Christina Quarles and Rachel Owens working in digital media.
