Immerse yourself in the ancient world through a collection of sculptures and antiquities representing gods, goddesses and mortals from Ancient Greece and Rome.
Originally acquired in the 18th century by antiquarian Henry Blundell, the World Museum showcases its collection of classical sculptures in a large scale display exploring how Greek gods were adopted by the Romans and discovering how they were worshipped.
The exhibition also invites visitors to enter a Roman villa to learn how Emperors were immortalised after their death, before entering the gates of the Underworld in a theatrical display featuring Cerberus, guardian of the gates to Hades.
