Generations: Portraits of Holocaust Survivors
Opening on Holocaust Memorial Day, the Imperial War Museum in Manchester hosts a display of 60 contemporary photographs of north-west based Holocaust survivors.
Photographed in Spring 2021, this series of modern, intimate and moving individual and family portraits of survivors who made the UK their home, celebrates their lives and the special legacy which their offspring will carry into the future.
The body of work by 13 contemporary photographers, all members and fellows of Royal Photographic Society, and including RPS president Simon Hill, will be on display alongside photography by RPS Patron, The Princess of Wales.
