Explore the life and work of one the 20th century’s greatest sculptors, Barbara Hepworth.

Artist and sculptor Barbara Hepworth was best known for her pioneering approach to modern sculpture. She was hugely influential in the colony of artists residing in St Ives, Cornwall during the Second World War and a leading female figure in the 20th century art world.

Explore her long career through some of her most important works, plus gain an insight into the personal life of this prolific artist. This instalment of the exhibition, which originated at the Hepworth Wakefield, will particularly focus on her life in Cornwall and you’ll be able to coincide your visit with a trip to the nearby Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden for more of her beautiful works.
