Light up the dark winter nights by making your own Dickensian London inspired lantern to take home.
Celebrate Dickens’s own ‘Magic Lantern’ — his beloved London — with this special family friendly session. Take a tour of 48 Doughty Street, decorated for a Victorian Christmas to learn about Charles Dickens and his life in London. Then create your own ‘magic city’ lantern inspired by the London skyline. All materials provided, including flameless tealight.
All materials provided. Sessions last 1 hour 15 minutes.
Suitable for ages 8-12 years, all children must be accompanied. This is a family event for adults with children only
£8 children, £14 adults - all tickets include admission to the historic house for you to explore further before or after.
