Can’t make it to the museum during our normal weekday hours?
Join us at one of our themed monthly museum lates for an opportunity to explore our exhibitions after hours! These extended openings allow visitors to see the space in a unique and hands-on way!
This month’s late will also include a special talk will be given by museum perseverance curator, Hannah Amos, on the history of the Nightingale Training School.
The talk will start at 6:30pm BST and will last around 45 minutes with time for questions at the end and is included in all general admission tickets.
A bar will be open starting at 5:00pm serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks offering the perfect accompaniment to your visit.
All tickets purchased for the monthly museum lates are general admission tickets and will be valid for a full year. All general admission tickets (including those of repeat visitors) will be accepted for these monthly Thursday evening lates.
About the Speaker:
Hannah Amos has worked at the Florence Nightingale Museum for the past eight years. Having started as front of house supervisor, she has worked in a variety of roles across the museum, but collections and exhibitions have always been her speciality. She spends most of her time ensuring that the collection is well cared for and documented, as well as undertaking research on Nightingale and the various topics in our exhibition programme.
