This workshop takes inspiration from the famous 'Ode to a Nightingale' which was written in the garden at Keats House.

This workshop takes inspiration from the famous 'Ode to a Nightingale' which was written in the garden at Keats House. Keats sat under a plum tree and penned his famous lines after listening to a nightingale singing.

Children will get the opportunity to see what real nightingales look like, learn about their habits and hear a recording of their song whilst making their own folded and decorated birds.

Aimed at children aged 7 to 12.

This is a drop-in workshop and you are welcome to come along without a booking. However, as space is limited, we recommend booking in advance to guarantee entry. There may be a short wait at busy times.

We recommend you allow a minimum of half an hour.

Arrive at any time during the event - last entry at 3.30pm.
