Want to read Elizabeth Gaskell aloud in her own home? Now you can join one of our friendly shared reading sessions.
Working with charity The Reader, Elizabeth Gaskell’s House are hosting a series of events where you can experience the joy of reading together.
During the session a trained Reader Leader will select an extract from one of Elizabeth Gaskell’s novels to read aloud together. Everyone is welcome to share their thoughts, ideas and memories – there is no pressure to talk or read aloud.
Experience the joy of literature in your own way through shared reading in a unique venue.
These Shared Reading Taster sessions are free and will take place in-person at Elizabeth Gaskell’s House on the below dates and times. Booking essential.
