With exceptional clarity and warmth, she reveals how Mary’s correspondence offers fresh insights into her captivity and agency.

This intimate evening invites you to explore Mary’s efforts to influence world politics from prison through her skilful and powerful letters. Engage in the layers of meaning behind texts and codes, unlock forgotten plots and come away with a deeper understanding of a queen under siege.
