Can’t make it to the museum during our normal weekday hours?
Join us at one of our themed monthly museum lates for an opportunity to explore our exhibitions after hours! These extended openings allow visitors to see the space in a unique and hands-on way!
This month’s late will also include a special talk will be given by Eleanor from St. Christopher’s Hospice “Book On the Right Shelf“. The talk will start at 6:30pm GMT and will last around 30 minutes with time for questions at the end.
Dame Cicely Saunders was a Nightingale Nurse turned doctor who revolutionized palliative care and is considered the founder of the modern hospice movement. Her story will be brought to life by another Nightingale Nurse, who actually knew her. Listeners will learn not just about this amazing woman, but her continuing impact in the modern day. Be sure to also check out our temporary exhibition In Focus: Dame Cicely Saunders which will be closing on 1st March 2026.
A bar will be open starting at 5:00pm serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks offering the perfect accompaniment to your visit.
All tickets purchased for the monthly museum lates are general admission tickets and will be valid for a full year. All general admission tickets (including those of repeat visitors) will be accepted for these monthly Thursday evening lates.
