We will be joined by Steve Broadbent from the Hampshire Astrological Group for a fascinating insight into the night sky.
As part of the South Downs National Park anniversary Dark Skies Festival we will be joined by Steve Broadbent from the Hampshire Astrological Group for a fascinating insight into the night sky.
Selborne is in a dark skies area meaning it is the perfect place to look up at the stars. Steve Broadbent will take you through everything visible in tonight’s sky using Stellarium software. So it doesn’t matter about the weather. Steve will also point out other interesting objects.
Stellarium is a open source planetarium. It shows a realistic sky in 3D, just like you would see with the naked eye, binoculars or a telescope.
Perfect for those who’d love to understand what they are looking at when they look up at the night sky, or those who due to light pollution in their area never get to see what a Hampshire night sky looks like!
