Internationally acclaimed soprano Lucy Crowe joins conductor and harpsichordist Bridget Cunningham for an evening of opera.
Featuring music from the operas Rodelinda, Cesare and Semele, Lucy Crowe OBE and harspichordist Bridget Cunningham present the best of Handel in the beautiful surroundings of the Picture Gallery.
The programme will also include Handel’s instrumental music performed by baroque musicians from London Early Opera as well as John Stanley’s The Power of Music and Beauty alongside compositions found in the Gerald Coke Handel Collection, such as Alexander’s Feast.
Expect a night of vocal fireworks and baroque brilliance – this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for lovers of Handel, history and opera.
There will be an opportunity to purchase drinks from our bar before the show and in the interval.
