Join artist and guest curator Stacey Joy Rossouw for an artistic performance lecture and see The Time Lab in its final form before the exhibition concludes at the end of October.
‘The Time Lab: Exploring a Living Prelude,’ has transformed the special exhibition gallery into an interactive studio. Over the past few months Stacey has brought together your stories and William Wordsworth’s poetry and turned them into a continually changing, interactive artwork – taking the studio from a plain white room to a space filled with art, music and creativity.
This special event invites you to go behind the scenes and discover the story behind this experimental exhibition. Stacey will give insights into her creative process, showcase some of the art and music that she has composed during the exhibition, and share some of the incredible stories and moments from the project. This is also your last chance for you to submit your own ‘spot of time’ – a powerful moment that has shaped who you are – to the exhibition before it ends.
The performance lecture begins at 7pm in the Jerwood Centre, but guests are invited to join us in the Museum from 6pm for refreshments and the opportunity to explore The Time Lab.
