Join Helen Aluko, founder of the Menopause Café @ Delapre Abbey to celebrate World Menopause Day. Our event hosts several very well-informed professionals on subjects connected to the management of perimenopause and menopause symptoms. You will have the opportunity to share your experiences and ask questions (if you would like to).
This is a great opportunity to gain knowledge about the menopause and how you can take control of your body and support it through this stage of your life.

Join Olivia, a Holistic Menstrual Health Specialist and Hormone Yoga Therapist, for a deeply supportive and empowering talk on the journey through perimenopause. Blending science-backed knowledge with soulful, embodied practices, Olivia creates a space for women to reconnect with their inner wisdom and reclaim their wellbeing.

Strong from the Core. Victoria is a passionate and experience Physiotherapist working for over 25 years both in the NHS and the private sector. She specialises in Pelvic Health and all the complexities that arise from problems that may occur in this area at any stage of life especially the affects of menopause and childbirth. She works to help restore and regain control through evidence based treatment. Victoria’s talk is entitled ‘Strong from the Core’ – understanding your pelvic floor and will include information on the affect that menopause can have on the pelvic floor and ways of managing this.
11.30 – 12.15 Kulwinder Onica –Practitioner Acupuncturist – Acu-Sana, Northampton acu-sana.com
Helen hosts a fireside chat with Kulwinder on the benefits of acupuncture to alleviate the symptoms of the perimenopause and menopause. Kulwinder is the founder of Acu-Sana, an acupuncture practice in Northampton, ‘Acu’ is latin for needle and ‘Sana’ for health / to heal. The practice is based on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), working with a variety of techniques to alleviate pain and heal health conditions by encouraging balance and harmony to the functioning of the body and its internal processes. There will be the opportunity to ask Kulwinder some questions at the end.

Join Jess from Time Seekers Women’s Wellbeing and the Pyjama Yoga Club to explore how short daily practises can improve your overall wellbeing and ease the menopause journey. With demonstrations Jess will show how little changes can make a big difference.

Ali is a trauma-informed Breathwork and energy practitioner who has spent the past decade supporting women to reconnect with their inner power and wisdom. With a gentle and intuitive approach, Ali creates safe, nourishing spaces for healing and transformation. As part of World Menopause Day, Ali will be offering a short talk and demonstration on how Breathwork can support common menopause symptoms. She will also guide a calming meditation designed to soothe the nervous system and restore balance.
14.30 – 15.00 Heather Goram - Clinical Hypnotherapist, NLP – (Neuro-linguistic Programming) EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing) Practitioner
You can find Heather on Social Media sites Heather talks about how a combination of therapies allows her to provide support on a physical and emotional level which can really benefit perimenopause and menopause symptoms. Heather is a therapist offering both physical and emotional support. For over 21 years she has worked with clients through Massage and Reflexology, and more recently she’s qualified as an NLP Practitioner, Clinical Hypnotherapist, and EMDR Practitioner.

Jenny will talk about what the perimenopause is, the common symptoms and why they happen, the root cause view and current ideas around nutrition and diet patterns to ease symptoms.
Taster sessions - Bookable on the Day
Shona Rathore from RED Reflexology will be offering 20-minute reflexology tasters.
Shona is specially trained in reflexology for menopause and can discuss the benefits of this amazing therapy with you and answer any specific questions you might have. This is available from 9.45 – 12.00.

Olivia Fallon - Hormone Yoga Therapy Sessions
Hormone Yoga Therapy (HYT) is a natural practice designed to support women through menopause by stimulating and balancing hormone production. It combines dynamic yoga postures, breathing techniques, and relaxation to ease symptoms like hot flushes, fatigue, mood swings, and sleep issues, offering a gentle, empowering alternative to HRT. A taster session is the perfect way to experience how quickly it can bring more energy, balance, and calm.
