Near Bottesford Manor, where the Peacock family lived, lie four historical sites. These are St. Peter-ad-Vincula Church, Templar’s Bath, St. John’s Well and Bottesford Beck. Each site has curious tales associated with its history. Join Oliver Blanchard as he discusses this location and delves into the stories, legends and the hauntings behind it.

Oliver Blanchard volunteers as part of the Documenting Northern Lincolnshire's History project team at North Lincolnshire Museum. An extract from Oliver's research on historical sites of Bottesford can be located within the 'Mabel Peacock's playscripts' section of the Stories from the Stores exhibition.

The Documenting Northern Lincolnshire's History project is made possible by National Lottery Heritage Fund as part of their Dynamic Collections campaign.
