For Ages 8-16

Admission to the museum is included in the price of the art masterclass for participants. Accompanying adults will be required to pay the museum entry fee upon arrival, but they do not need a ticket for the workshop.

Our latest Art Masterclass instalment will enable participants to learn drawing techniques. They will draw from a life model dressed as a hero from Coventry’s past, inspired by portraits in our permanent collection. Our learning team will introduce the group to several key portrait paintings from our collection before guiding them through the process of successfully representing the human figure in art. Participants will feel like true artists as they work with easels and use a range of art materials while being guided by our learning team to improve their technique. Our series of art masterclasses are fantastic for encouraging creative minds and enhancing the skills of budding artists.

Parents are not required to stay but are welcome to do so.
