Creative family fun session with artist Kalisha Piper Cheddie
What do you know about how artists approach their work? Where do their ideas come from? How do they pull inspiration from the things around them?
Come along and learn some of the techniques that painter Lynette Yiadom-Boakye uses to create her mysterious portraits of imagined characters. Create a portrait of your own, find out where the process leads you and see who appears!
Join us for this lively and participatory activity with mixed media creative practitioner Sarah-Jane Mason. Inspired by current exhibition To Improvise A Mountain: Lynette Yiadom-Boakye Curates (on display until 5 October) this artist residency takes place in the magnificent surroundings of Central Court in Leeds Art Gallery.
