The fascinating story of the rainbow of colours in food will be brought to life through engaging live experiments.

Nantwich is proud of its ‘foody’ status and colourful food is abundant in the town, in the market, local shops and at the annual food festival. Colour is one of the most important aspects of food and indicates freshness, wholesomeness and overall quality. Join us to learn about natural and artificial food colourants past and present, their presence in foods from to fruit to fish, cabbages to carrots, and more! The use of colourants in processed foods will also be explored. The fascinating story of the rainbow of colours in food will be brought to life through engaging live experiments.
