Join our afternoon ancient dog-themed extravaganza!
What happens when you mix dogs and the ancient world? You unleash a tail-wagging day of fun at the Museum of Classical Archaeology, of course.
Get creative and explore our summer exhibition, Cultured Canines: Evolution, Emotion, Imitation, which blends ancient Greek pottery with canine charm. Find out more about how your favourite four-legged friends got on in the past, follow our trail and try your hand at a range of dog-themed crafts.
This event is free and drop in only, n need to book. Find out more about Summer at the Museums.
Summer Temperatures
Our glass-roofed gallery can get very warm in the summer months. We recommend bringing water if the weather is forecast to be warm and sunny.
Accessibility
The Cast Gallery is on the first floor.
We provide step-free access via our lift. To use the lift please ask at the reception on the ground floor of the Faculty of Classics.
This event is primarily seated. The family trail involves standing, but we can move chairs around the gallery.
