In this session, using different pieces of evidence that archaeologists have excavated at Roman Vindolanda and Magna Forts, we will investigate the life of people living along Hadrian's Wall 2,000 years ago.

But what would happen if none of this evidence was available to us? Led by Sophie, Activity & Diversity Officer at the Vindolanda Trust, we'll explore what we can learn from these ancient treasures and what we stand to lose as the climate changes.'

Cliffe Castle has newly restored its glorious stained glass window on the central stairs and Cliffe Castle Park has had a major refurbishment and forms a beautiful backdrop for the museum - with an excellent café!
